You Are/You Are Not the World: A Buddhist Clarification

Are you a True Buddha? Of course you are
Understand that you are the mystic creator of your world. The great unseen hand moving behind the scenes is a mix of your intentions (known- perhaps or not quite admitted to), past actions and your karma. Surely you are not in charge of every event. But then again... Who even knows?

He, the first origin of this creation,Whether he formed it all or did not form it,
Whose eye controls this world in highest heaven,
Only he knows its origins, or perhaps even he knows not.

-Hymn of the Rig Veda

The creator and the creation are not separate.

Question: If I am the creator, then why worship a god at all? Is even acknowledging a god (in essence) implying there is something separate from myself?

Reply: Acknowledging Buddha, Christ, Krisna or any other godhead as something separate from ourselves allows us to delve deeper into the Great Mystery and gives us the opportunity to do something we cannot do when we know ourselves in our undifferentiated awareness (i.e. as everything)

Question: What is that 'something'?

Reply: 'Adoration' is the something. To perceive an object as separate from ourselves so we can love it with total disregard for ourselves (ie unconditionally), allows us to touch upon our True Being.

Question: Is there a state even beyond that?
Reply: Yes. But many saints are perfectly joyous to remain in that particular ecstasy for a lifetime.
